About the job

As Managing Director at To70 New Zealand you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business and its continued growth. You will be responsible for business development, delivery of projects, management of staff as well as the financial management of the company.

As a consultancy organization the most challenging part of your role will be to build on relationships with existing clients and identify and develop new opportunities. You will oversee delivery of our vision to help society and industry address current and future aviation challenges by delivering outstanding, independent consultancy services and research.

About you

• Manage the finances of the business to meet agreed financial targets.
  
• Collaborate closely with To70 in Australia and worldwide.

• Have a minimum of ten years' experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the field of aviation, e.g. as a consultant or working for an airport, aviation service provider, airline, regulatory body or international institution, ideally with understanding of business development and people management.

• Have a proven ability to engage, listen and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Have good analytical skills and are able to communicate and express yourself clearly, in oral and written forms.
• Are an entrepreneur, hands-on, self-motivating, and resilient.
• are responsible for growth of our business in New Zealand, client and staff satisfaction, and profitability.
• Recruit staff and manage and mentor team members.
• You will market To70 in New Zealand and the Pacific, developing long-term relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities in the aviation market and developing proposals for clients in response to identified opportunities.
