As Managing Director at To70 Canada you are responsible for the day to day operation of the business and its continued growth. You will be responsible for business development, delivery of projects, management of staff as well as the financial management of the company.

It is To70’s mission to help society and industry address current and future aviation challenges by delivering outstanding, independent consultancy services and research. We help our clients identify and analyze challenges, recommend solutions and assist with their subsequent implementation. Clients include airports, airlines, government bodies, and air navigation service providers as well as stakeholders who interface closely with the aviation industry such as renewable energy suppliers and community groups impacted by aviation.

We have a team of experienced consultants located across offices in Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Australia.

The Job

  • You are responsible for growth of our business in Canada, client and staff satisfaction, and profitability.
  • You will market To70 in Canada, develop long-term relationships with clients, identify business opportunities within the Canada aviation market and develop proposals for clients in response to identified opportunities.
  • Recruit staff and manage and mentor team members.
  • Manage the finances of the business against agreed financial targets.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with To70 companies worldwide.
  • Report to the To70 Canada shareholders
  • From time to time you will be involved in projects to ensure the quality of delivery and that overall needs of the client are met.

Your Profile

  • Experienced, with a minimum of five (5) years of progressively increasing responsibility in the field of aviation, e.g. as a consultant or working for an aviation service provider, regulatory body or international institution, ideally with understanding of business development and people management.

  • Knowledge of airport and airspace operations and spatial planning is not a must-have but a nice-to-have.
  • You have a proven ability to engage, listen and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • You have good analytical skills and are able to communicate and express yourself clearly, in oral and written forms.
  • You are an entrepreneur, hands-on, self-motivating, and resilient.
